Welcome to the Polk State Flight Team. We are a student organization competing in the National Intercollegiate Flight Association (NIFA) sponsored regional and national Safety and Flight Evaluation Conferences (SAFECON).
NIFA is a forum for collegiate aviators to expand their studies and further their careers by participating in competitive and non-competitive events, networking with industry and contemporaries, and applying themselves to go above-and-beyond their ordinary curriculum. Did you know the founder of Pan American Airways, Juan Trippe, was a member of the Yale flight team which won the first competition in 1920?
